The Publishing House of the Academy of Social and Medical Sciences in Lublin – University of Applied Sciences was established primarily to enable the dissemination and popularisation of the scientific and research achievements of the University’s staff. The Publishing House has released several dozen continuous and non-continuous publications, including: scientific monographs – 24 titles and scientific journals – 12 issues. All works published by the ANSiM Publishing House are assigned ISBN numbers (scientific monographs), while individual series of scientific journals are assigned ISSN numbers.

Publication Guidelines

All authors wishing to submit their works for publication are encouraged to review the editorial requirements available at: http://www.wsns.lublin.pl/uczelnia/publikacje-wsns Articles (only in doc or rtf formats), together with a short biographical note, should be sent to the editorial office e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Authors are requested to take into account the technical guidelines included in the text. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject submissions and to shorten articles that do not meet the required standards. Submission of a manuscript by the Author to the editorial office is equivalent to consent to the review procedure adopted by the Editorial Board and to the publication of the text or abstract also in electronic form.

REVIEW PROCEDURE

Each scientific publication submitted to the WSNS Publishing House is subject to two publishing reviews, conducted by independent reviewers appointed by the Publishing House. The reviewer prepares the review within a deadline agreed with the publisher, using a review form prepared by the Publishing House. The review includes an assessment of the justification for publishing the work, including: the relevance and originality of the subject matter on the publishing market, the appropriateness of the research methods or the selection of up-to-date literature, any minor substantive inaccuracies identified by the reviewer that require correction, or suggested changes to the content of the work. The review must contain a clear recommendation regarding acceptance or rejection of the work. A reviewer of a scientific publication must hold the academic title of habilitated doctor or professor.

In order to maintain a high academic standard, the Editorial Board pays particular attention to adherence to research ethics and preventing academic misconduct. We inform that so-called guest authorship (listing as an author a person who did not participate in the preparation of the work or whose contribution was minimal) and ghostwriting (failure to list as a co-author or acknowledge a person whose contribution was significant) are manifestations of academic dishonesty, and any detected cases will be exposed. We also inform that the Publishing House of the University of Social Sciences cooperates with anti-plagiarism platforms, including Plagiat.pl and the Subcarpathian Anti-Plagiarism Platform.
