I am currently studying postgraduate studies. It is great that thanks to online lectures it is possible to combine studying with work. Other universities should follow this example!!! Time for learning is used effectively. You do not have to wait and waste time on another lecture or on a professor trying to start the projector or finally begin speaking about the topic. Here you receive specific materials, you study and take exams — unfortunately not always on the first attempt, because the amount of material is huge, but you have three attempts included in the tuition fee. (For comparison – in Warsaw I paid 300 PLN just for the first retake). You do not waste time or money on the whole “academic atmosphere” — not always pleasant — which you have probably experienced during your master’s studies. The time and money you save can be spent, for example, on properly completed professional internships or traineeships. To sum up… I am very satisfied. I recommend it to everyone who can work systematically, because this is the basis for this type of studies. Do not let anyone convince you that online studies are less valuable. In the United States, nearly 60% of lectures are conducted this way. I wrote quite a lot :) but believe me — this particular university — and it is my third one — truly deserved it. Greetings!

I have just completed one of the postgraduate programs – Human Resources Management. I am satisfied with the accessible learning materials. A big advantage of the WSNS study system is the possibility to study at any time, which makes it possible to combine professional and personal life. Postgraduate studies usually take place on weekends – and after a whole week of work, one would like to have the weekend free. That is why I studied during weekdays in the evenings. I have already enrolled in another program (sociotherapy) and I cannot wait. I read other comments and noticed that some people do not like the tests. It is enough to master the provided material by analyzing it with understanding. This is not a diploma shop. Each subject ends with a test, and this motivates systematic work. 26.07.2021

In my opinion, the university has a pro-student approach. Of course, various situations happen – sometimes a lecturer does not come to class and does not cancel it early enough, or the date of an exam is changed and students have to adjust their plans – but from my observations, such situations occur only occasionally. Lecturers are competent and quite committed. Of course, some people resigned during the first year. The studies simply did not meet their expectations. I think many people also do not fully realize that nursing is a very specific profession requiring a lot of patience, among other things. Personally, I am satisfied with my choice. I also have not had any problems at the university in terms of communication with staff. 07.05.2021

I chose the nursing program because I had heard that the demand for graduates of this field is quite high. I study part-time. I like my studies very much. During the pandemic, lectures are online, while practical training is conducted traditionally in hospitals and clinics. The school maintains a good level and it is possible to learn the profession here — at least to gain initial preparation. Experience, of course, is gained over years of work. So far, I have not had any problems with this university. To sum up, I am satisfied with my choice, although I am aware that this profession is not for everyone. 09.04.2021

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to study at your university. It allowed me to gain new qualifications in a very friendly atmosphere. At the same time, I would also like to wish you all the best and many grateful students on the occasion of Easter. 03.04.2021

I sincerely recommend WSNS, especially the Emergency Medical Services program. Friendly lecturers provide learning materials. Kind ladies in the dean’s office are always helpful. Friendly people in the year group. Modern laboratories with professional equipment for practical and simulation classes, conducted by practitioners and enthusiasts who can interest students and even “infect” them with their passion! At WSNS, I am fulfilling my dreams and I encourage everyone to choose this university. 05.12.2020

Objective

I wholeheartedly recommend this university. I have experience with a public university, which I have already erased from my memory because it was traumatic — I say this with full responsibility. Here, I met great scholars, but most importantly PEOPLE WITH VALUES who treat you like a human being. I know it may sound strange, but previously I was often deprived of this humanity. I will write more… We were treated like “rural trash” who dared to want higher education instead of shoveling manure. Such comments were made literally — and not only by students. Moral values were zero. Sometimes, to pass an exam, you had to grit your teeth and repeat theses humiliating to human dignity. Topics such as the conscience clause were unacceptable. If you said that abortion is wrong, you were guaranteed a retake — and not just one. In Lublin, I discovered that you can have your own beliefs and still be treated with dignity. Dear lecturers of the Higher School of Social Sciences in Lublin — I love you all, from master’s degree holders to doctors. You are great! Thanks to you, I not only solidly supplemented my education, but above all, I regained faith in humanity and rediscovered God, who showed me His love through you. I am writing this solely from the need of my heart. Whoever does not want to believe it — does not have to. I just wanted to testify. I will miss Lublin! I regret that I lacked the courage to say all this publicly when I was still your student. Thank you! 14.05.2020

After completing postgraduate studies in teacher training, I have mixed feelings about the school. A definite downside was the level of classes. Reading presentations by the lecturer during classes is not the best way to convey knowledge. For me, there was also definitely too little practical knowledge, classes were cancelled too often, and organizing Christmas Eve meetings or Easter gatherings during study sessions is not something students expect when they pay for their studies. Receiving an SMS informing me that the university had ordered a Holy Mass for my birthday was also inappropriate in my opinion. Not all students are Catholics and this should be respected. The icing on the cake was a visit to the dean’s office, during which I asked to change my address in the documents after learning that diplomas would be sent by post. I was not asked to show any identification. The staff member only asked for my name, field of study and new address. This did not feel very secure. On the positive side, the atmosphere definitely deserves mention. Lecturers are friendly and understanding. It is possible to communicate with them regarding delays in submitting assignments, transferring grades, internships or making up for absences. The dean’s office is equally understanding when it comes to all types of fees. And of course, the diploma examination – one of the most pleasant and least stressful exams in my entire education. The university has its pros and cons. I recommend it especially to people who want to complete a program without stress (at least this applies to teacher training) and who have strong motivation to study independently. 04.05.2020

While reading the posted reviews, I wondered whether I was making the right choice by selecting this university. I took the risk… and I must say that at least for now, I do not regret it! What surprised me positively was the lecturers’ approach to students (simple kindness and understanding are the core values) and the interesting way knowledge is delivered. I also studied at another university where students were treated like proverbial “zeros.” I suggest that future students should not focus only on negative comments. 18.02.2020

will not refer to previous comments, but I will write how I see it as a graduate of three other fields of study, including master’s degrees. At WSNS, the academic staff is excellent. I admire their approach to students — they genuinely try to teach something, even when the learner can be somewhat resistant. Lecturers in almost every subject provide their own scripts, which contain condensed knowledge from the classes. It is not easy to encourage people to learn when they have just come off a night shift or traveled over a hundred kilometers to attend classes, and yet it works here. No one should complain about a lack of opportunity to learn something — and at a more than advanced level. What impressed me the most were Biochemistry, Biophysics, Microbiology, Anatomy, Advanced English — three months mean about 300 phrases and 600 words of specialized vocabulary — and Physiology. Everything is explained in a very accessible and, moreover, interesting way. Important issues are often repeated even three times. Even subjects like Ethics, Anthropology or Psychology enjoy high student attendance — almost 100% each time. This does not mean that exams are easy; sometimes I think they are not, but they are for the patient — those who have at least as much patience as the lecturers. 20.12.2019

Hello, I have just finished my second session of postgraduate studies. The atmosphere is great — first impression: top marks. The lecturers are competent — I know what I’m saying, as I have completed several postgraduate programs at other well-known universities and know how some lecturers treat students. Here at WSNS, lectures and practical classes are truly at a high level (Teacher Training). The school was recommended to me by a friend — so far, everything suits me. This is just my opinion, but maybe it will help someone make a decision. I am studying Teacher Training, and it seems to me that in Lublin and the surrounding area this is the best choice — also in terms of price. Enrollment takes place twice a year, the school is new, there is a cafeteria and parking. I emphasize — the lecturers are “normal” people, they do not treat students condescendingly. A truly rich knowledge base and the ability to convey it — the right people in the right positions. I recommend it. 04.03.2018

Hello, I wanted to share my opinion about WSNS and I can recommend this school with a clear conscience. It is excellent and has a wonderful approach to students — it really makes you want to come back :-) Greetings to everyone at WSNS. 25.02.2018

The Higher School of Social Sciences in Lublin is another university where I supplemented my professional qualifications. This time, it was a three-semester postgraduate program in Teacher Training. WSNS in Lublin offers a modern educational base in a new building and many amenities for students and postgraduate participants (a large parking area for drivers, a cafeteria where you can eat a good meal at an affordable price). Very kind and professional service in the dean’s office, but above all — excellent academic staff. Among the many distinguished academic employees, Ms. Aurelia Kunc, MA, stands out. She conducts classes in a clear and accessible manner, even though issues of methodology and didactics are not easy — especially since many classical theories in these fields are often expanded and new theories are created based on previous ones. Her vast knowledge, experience and ability to reach every participant are her defining qualities. Additionally, she is very kind, understanding and cheerful, despite the fact that the work she does is very demanding. I personally recommend WSNS in Lublin to anyone interested, especially studying methodology and didactics under the guidance of Ms. Aurelia Kunc. 04.10.2017

WSNS is a wonderful university where I had the opportunity to study. I completed a three-semester postgraduate program in Teacher Training there. I believe it is a place friendly to both students and their families :). Classes for postgraduate students are held exclusively on Saturdays. From the perspective of my educational experience (this was my fourth degree and third postgraduate program), gathered in various institutions, I sincerely recommend WSNS. I believe that the courses offered by the university are of a very high academic standard. Lecturers are kind and very friendly toward participants and students. Not all subjects are “easy, nice and pleasant.” For me, the most difficult subject was methodology. Thanks to the kindness and patience of the instructor, Ms. Aurelia Kunc, MA, I was able to understand and master the material in this field. Thanks to her vast knowledge and excellent methodological preparation, I managed my teaching internships without any problems. WSNS offered me solid theory and knowledge, which I sometimes acquired “with great effort,” but the effort pays off and brings great satisfaction. The university has an excellent facilities base with bright, spacious classrooms. On the ground floor, you can eat a meal in a well-stocked cafeteria. In the cloakroom, there is a photocopying service — kind staff always find time to copy notes for busy students. Very friendly staff work in the dean’s office. And the Rector, the host of this university, is a competent, kind and friendly person who always finds time and a smile for everyone.
