13–14 June 2022
We encourage you to ознакомиться yourself with the
Three students and two academic staff members of WSNS took part in an intensive BIP course in the capital of Latvia – Riga.
We invite students to contact the University Erasmus Coordinator.
The BIP programme “Building with the Art of Communication” was very intensive, yet interesting and engaging. Lectures were interwoven with integration games, group work, practical projects, and friendly competition among participants.
Each day surprised participants with unconventional forms of work and lectures. Programme participants had the opportunity to learn about differences and similarities between generations X, Y, Z and Alpha, differences in the use of social media tools, sources of communication errors, language barriers, and traps of stereotypical thinking, as well as to acquire skills in meaningful content design for social media.
At the midpoint of the programme, a formal integration dinner was held, and the training concluded with a visit to the Regional Museum and a boat trip on the Daugava River.

In December 2021, the University Erasmus Coordinator of WSNS visited Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta, Turkey, as well as Alanya HEP University.

In addition to classes for students of both Turkish universities, we agreed on a general framework for cooperation.
We encourage students of Dietetics and Management to go for a one-semester study stay (summer semester) at a small university located on the Mediterranean coast – AHEP University. It is possible to fly to Antalya or Alanya with TUI flights or other tourist charter flights.
Due to the significant depreciation of the Turkish lira, the cost of living and food in Turkey is extremely competitive. A student scholarship of EUR 550–800 per month allows for a very high standard of living.
Students in Isparta were very engaged, participated actively in discussions and classes, and some spoke English fluently – finally face-to-face work and cooperation.
The Erasmus Coordinator is currently preparing a trip for several WSNS lecturers at the beginning of March in order to teach classes at both of the above-mentioned universities. We encourage you to get in touch.
Dear students, candidates for studies and their friends,
Did you know that:
-
If you are 18–30 years old,
-
You do not need to know any foreign language,
-
You do not have to be a student or a pupil,
-
You can go abroad for 2 weeks up to 12 months,
You can take part in an international volunteering project coordinated by eks.org.pl, financed by the European Commission.
This is an excellent opportunity for a WSNS student who plans to go abroad for studies or an internship with Erasmus funding.
It is also a great option for a candidate for studies who cannot yet benefit from Erasmus and, before starting studies, can go abroad, break the language barrier, and see that “they can do it.”
You do not have to be a WSNS student to use the offer of eks.org.pl.
More information is available on YouTube: https://youtu.be/211uShcHFMQ
and from the University Erasmus+ Coordinator: erasmus.wsns.pl, eks.org.pl, phone 606 388 854.
Trip to Sofia
On 24–26 October, MA Agata Stachura and MA Patrycja Gierszon travelled to Sofia to conduct classes for students at the Medical University of Sofia.
MA Patrycja Gierszon conducted classes on the performance and application of facial prostheses for students of Dental Technology and visited a private, modern laboratory specializing in CAD/CAM technology in the center of Sofia.
MA Agata Stachura conducted classes for Physiotherapy students entitled “The Impact of Comprehensive Sanatorium Rehabilitation on Diabetes Control for Patients on 21-Day Treatment Resort” and presented the system of sanatorium treatment in Poland.
Students eagerly participated in the classes and were very satisfied with the lectures. It was also a great opportunity to exchange experiences with lecturers from the Medical University of Sofia, learn about Bulgarian culture, establish further cooperation, and present the University of Social and Medical Sciences in Lublin on the international stage.
We warmly encourage students and lecturers to participate in study mobilities and teaching assignments in Sofia under the Erasmus+ program at the best medical university in Bulgaria.
Sunny weather and low living costs are additional advantages – we also have partner universities in Varna.
Paid internships for WSNS students
Representatives of Algoos, our partner offering paid internships in many EU countries, will come to Lublin on 17 November 2021.
Those interested in meeting the company Algoos are kindly asked to contact the Erasmus Coordinator’s Office:
Ernest Nowak
Phone: +48 606 388 854
How to take part in Erasmus? What is worth knowing before traveling?
The National Erasmus Agency encourages employees of Polish higher education institutions to participate in one-week training courses aimed at improving professional competences.
The University Erasmus Coordinator will finance training trips from the WSNS Erasmus budget, in the amount of EUR 800–1200 per trip, depending on the duration and distance.
Detailed funding rules are available at http://erasmus.wsns.pl in the Documents section.
Trips are available for administrative and academic staff (also those employed under civil-law contracts).
